Help, I’ve Fallen and I can’t Get Up!

I received this question from one of my sister’s in the Lord and the question was this:

So the question is….How do you know when you’ve received??…rather than just saying “I believe.”

First of let me say this because we have to understand this first. Jesus Christ came to this earth to accomplish a finished work he does not leave anything half finished.

In God’s kingdom, or the Spirit realm of life we find all things that God would want us to have. Every need has been met through Christ.

Our need of knowledge on how to appropriate what is in the spirit realm into the natural realm is of utmost importance.

If we don’t have a knowledge of this we are going to wonder why God is not answering our prayers.

By not understanding this you will walk around thinking God is not hearing my prayers, doesn’t love me, does not answer my prayers, doesn’t care about my health, my marriage, my children, my financial situation etc.

In this Finished Work fulfilled by Christ every Spiritual, Physical, Financial, Emotional, Domestic and Social need in life is met if we know how to get them met.

Someone might say, “I don’t believe that Randy”. To that person I would say:

Mat_9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

May the Lord touch your spiritual eyes that you may see this truth how important it is to live by faith.

So what you receive from God depends upon your faith. Now here is a very important truth. You grew up in a world that has faith but faith that is contrary to the Word of God.

We deal with things in one of two ways. The Worlds ways or God’s way. Since you were born into a world without the knowledge of God in peoples lives you had to learn by listening to teachers. What did they teach you?

Just as I wrote question the thought came to my mind to ask this question to you that have children, “What are you teaching your children?

What are you teaching your children about Spiritual, Physical, Financial, emotional, domestic and Social problems in life because it is not if they are going to have them but when they are going to have them, how have you taught them to deal with them?

Back to this teaching, Christ has done it all and made a great deposit in the spirit realm for every need in our life:

Php_4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

So do you have every need met today? Well yes and no. Yes that need has been met by Christ Jesus, but No,you may not have it in your possession today.

My sister’s question earlier in the post was this:

So the question is….How do you know when you’ve received??…rather than just saying “I believe.”

So a person can say that they believe that God will supply all of their needs but they have not received all of their needs met because they have not had revelation or illumination of their active part in receiving things from God.

When the Word of Faith people came on the scene they ballooned a truth into a lie on somethings and it turned allot of people off to the truths about the Faith Message.

I’m not going to get into that but I do want to just post this:

Heb_11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him….There is a condition there.

Now you can believe that when you read the Bible but do you renew your mind with this truth and meditate upon it and hide this word in your heart and apply it?

This takes work and study and application and many do not want to do their part and that is why they do not have what God wants them to have because GOD HAS CONFINED HIMSELF TO HIS WORD AND HE IS NOT GOING TO BREAK HIS WORD.

When God tells you to do something once it is very important for life if God tells you to do it. But if God tells you over and over again the very same thing then it is of the utmost importance and wants it to be buried deeply in your mind and heart. Listen to what God says four times:

Hab_2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Rom_1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Gal_3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
Heb_10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

A person may say well that person has allot of faith and that person not so much but a person’s faith is proportional to their knowing and acting upon the Word of God:

Rom_10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Now we can read the Bible and it can increase our faith but then do we act upon our faith?:

Jas_1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

You see Faith is an action word. There is a work that accompanies Faith because Faith without Works is a dead Faith:

Jas_2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Jas_2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

So for the most part, speaking of believers and non believers the problem lays in ignorance of God’s Word and not having an understanding of how to get things in the spirit realm into the natural realm of life that we live in.

This deals with the saving of our souls, the healing of our bodies, the forgiveness of our sins, peace of heart and mind and every single need in life.

So having been brought up in this world and surrounded by it’s teachers our thought life and our memory banks are saturated with this world.

God in His Love addressed this problem. God comes knocking on your door of your heart and wants to come into your life and make you a New Creation, give you a new Life in Christ.

Upon receiving Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life your mind has to be renewed because it is filled with the ways of this world:

Rom_12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

I know as I listen to people who complain all the time that their minds have not been renewed.

I watch and listen to people who go through sickness and disease in their lives and the lives of their love ones and I can tell if the minds have been renewed and I can tell as they speak what is in their hearts about their faith:

Luk 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

I do not have to be around someone very long and listen to them speak to know what is in their heart.

There is so much to say about the relationship of the mouth and heart of a person. Do they speak faith or fear and doubt. Our words are of utmost importance:

Mat_15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Mat_15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

Our words that we speak that come from our hearts are so powerful that the Bible says this:

Pro_18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

What words do you speak out on a daily basis? Are they encouraging, uplifting, edifying? Are they words of faith?

If you are a believer your God spoke every material thing into existence. What are you saying Randy, that God made the Nuclear missile? No, but He spoke into existence all the materials that man uses to make that missile.

So if you are a born again child of God, made in the image of God the Words that you speak have great power and you are accountable for every idle word spoken.

Mar 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Mar 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Jesus starts out saying, “Have Faith in God”. But he goes on to speak about “Speaking” three more times than believing.

So in regards to my precious sisters question we go from believers to receivers when we are born again, our minds are renewed by the Word of the Lord. We become doers of the Word and not just hearers and we have faith in God and SPEAK the Word of God over our situations. The Just Shall Live by Faith.

Have a faith filled day, God bless you!!
