If God loves you why does He not heal your body?? If God loves you why doesn’t He fix this horrible marriage of yours? If God loves you why does He not take this depression, fear and worry away from your mind today?
These questions and so many more are often ask by people, “Why Lord?”
When Jesus was upon the Cross He uttered these words:
Joh_19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
What Jesus was sent forth to this earth to do was accomplished, it was finished on the Cross. He left nothing undone.
We don’t need Jesus to do something else, there was nothing left undone, spiritually speaking every T was crossed and every i dotted and every need met for the human race was met through Christ.
Well Randy if that is the case then why in the world is , my health, my marriage, my finances, my families life, my friendships, my relationships, my business etc. in such a “mess?”
If God really loves me why would He let all of these things be in such a mess? Why doesn’t He just save the whole world, heal the whole world, make the whole world happy and wealthy and pour out everything we need?
Why? Because after the Fall of mankind that is not the way God set things up. As a Christian, a finite human being, I am going to trust that an infinite God, a all knowing, all powerful, all present God knew what He was doing when He set His plan into action.
I want to submit to that plan and get the benefits of the plan that God wants me to have. I believe it will work out for the best for my life. There is one catch in this plan if we are ignorant of it, it is going to stop us from having what God has for our lives.
Let’s look at it because if we don’t we are not going to have deliverance, salvation, healing, provision, protection, healthy marriages, peaceful homes, spiritual, physical, financial, emotional, domestic, or social needs met in our lives if we are ignorant of this.
Let’s start with forgiveness of sins that you commit in life, the salvation of your soul from hell, the eternal torment of a soul damned to Hell and it’s suffering.
You have read the verse on the bumpers of cars probably heard it on the radio, read it in the bible, had someone quote it to you and it is this verse:
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
People read this verse that is taken out of context and think that God loves the whole world. What you would be saying is this. God loves that man that kidnaps your son or daughter, sexually abuses them over and over then tortures them and takes their life.
But when we read the Bible it says:
Psa_7:11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
Did God love Ananias and Sapphira when He killed them for telling a lie:
Act 5:9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.
It is comforting to our souls to believe that God loves everyone and we are all going to Heaven. I have known people who have lived a horribly sinful life and when they die people will tell the family of the one who suffered the loss of that love one, “Well I know old Jack is up in Heaven now out on the golf course in Heaven drinking a Bud Light and having the time of his life. Let me just print this:
Rom 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
In the Bible there is the metaphor as far as the human race is concerned to that of goats and sheep, this is important:
Mat 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
Mat 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
Mat 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Mat 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Mat 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Mat 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Mat 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
Mat 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Mat 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
Mat 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Mat 25:42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
Mat 25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Mat 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Mat 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
You see the Love of God is available to whosoever will receive it:
Rev_22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
So we see a love sent by God to the human race but not all will receive Christ and His instructions for everlasting life to come and have blessings in present day life.
This verse says that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. God gave us his Son to be a living sacrifice, to die upon the Cross so that you might experience a new life, become a new creation and enter into the family of God:
Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Joh 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
